Welcome in!

I am so happy to finally be able to share with people the wonderful, and no so wonderful, parts of the life I get to live. It is such a blessing to be in the rooms I am, and to interact with the people I do. Rooted & Roaming is the exact way I would describe my life. Rooted in my belief in God, our Father. Roaming to new places, to see new sights, to experience more, to learn more. Roaming - the never ending pursuit of the things that light my soul on fire.

I’ve had this idea to share my thoughts and my life with more people than those I just meet in my day-to-day life, and just never got around to it. Even now, starting and stopping typing this throughout my work day. But this year, I made a commitment to myself to see through the ideas and creations my brain has, this being one of them. I have always loved reading little insights and advice people have about life, about relationships, about work. I’ve always searched for someone who was doing something similar to the positions I’ve been placed in, but have had no such luck. I’m now coming to realize that we all live such different lives that there’s no way to simply compare one person’s life to another. We’re all blessed with completely different jobs, relationships, friends…we’re all dealt different cards in life. It took me a while to figure this out. That my life was uniquly mine. That there would be people in similar positions as mine, but no one would ever know what a day in my life truly was like. Which in all honesty, lit a new fire in my to share exactly what the process looked like, how I got here, where I’m going, what I want, what I’m learning.

So…welcome in! I hope that by me sharing little bits and pieces of my life inspires you to do the same. Share your story, share you life - someone out there needs to see it (or at least that’s what I keep telling myself).
